The first look at Independence Day: Resurgence is here. That's right — the action reboot now has a name, two behind-the-scenes pictures, and a synopsis. "Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet," 20th Century Fox said in a press release. "But nothing can prepare us for the aliens' advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction." Oh, heck yes! Check out the title announcement and the new pictures here. Independence Day: Resurgence is due out in theaters on June 24, 2016.
