Supernatural and Game of Thrones just collided, and we don't know what to do with ourselves. The casts from both shows appeared at Comic-Con over the weekend, but it was during a press interview with Jensen Ackles that we got the story of how he became a huge fan of HBO's hit fantasy series. Take a look, and then laugh forever at Jared Padalecki's ridiculous joke.
"It was used in the show when Dean is sitting with Charlie and having a marathon of Game of Thrones and Dean was like, 'What's Game of Thrones?' Well, I actually had that response in real life."
He's not quite right about what happens, but that's cool.
"I called Robbie Thompson, who wrote the episode, and was like, 'What is this? Is this the show with a bunch of naked guys running around?' He was like, 'No, that's Spartacus.' So he sent me the first two seasons."
"It was late at night and I'm home during the week. My family is down in California and I'm in Vancouver, so I plugged in Game of Thrones. I spent the next week or two watching all of seasons one and two. I turned my wife onto it and now she's fanatical about it. I couldn't walk away from it if I tried."
