Jersey Boys Is Your New Favorite Movie Musical

Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons take center stage in the trailer for Jersey Boys, the big-screen adaptation of Broadway's hit musical. The film, about the success and trials of the popular band, looks kind of like That Thing You Do mixed with Goodfellas — in a good way. Clint Eastwood is the director, John Lloyd Young (who won a Tony for playing the role on stage) is Valli, and Boardwalk Empire's Vincent Piazza plays Tommy DeVito, the group's lead guitarist. The music is great (obviously), and I like the tone of the movie, but I'm not sure breaking the fourth wall translates from the stage to the screen here. We'll see when the movie hits theaters on June 20!
