"Love Is Blind" is all social media could talk about Sunday night — but not necessarily for the messy drama viewers were looking forward to. Netflix originally announced that the reality dating show would air its first-ever live reunion on April 16 to close out its fourth season, which concluded on April 14. However, the highly anticipated event, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, was delayed for over an hour before the streamer shared an update revealing the special would premiere later than expected.
"To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon . . . we are incredibly sorry that the 'Love is Blind' Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We're filming it now and we'll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible," the streamer tweeted as the reunion got underway. Again, thank you and sorry."
Vanessa also issued an apology at the start of the special, telling viewers, "We're sorry we're late. We are no longer live, but we are now finally here. All of you at home, you haven't missed a thing. We've been sitting on these couches not talking to each other so we can save all the tea for you."
For some lucky "Love Is Blind" viewers, they were still able to view the reunion in real time as cast members Tiffany, Brett, Kwame, Chelsea, Zack, Bliss, Micah, Paul, Marshall, and Irina reunited on stage to hash out the most-talked-about moments of their season and update fans on where their relationships (and dating statuses) stand today. Cast members Jackie and Josh (who didn't make it to the season four finale) did not attend in person. Instead, a pretaped Zoom interview with Vanessa and the now-confirmed couple aired during a portion of the special.
Those who tuned in for the live reunion not only learned which married couples from the finale stayed together for the last year, they also witnessed some new revelations come to light directly from the cast. Ahead, check out the biggest moments from the "Love Is Blind" season four reunion.
