Worlds Will Collide When Wonder Woman's Lynda Carter Guest Stars on Supergirl

The CW's Supergirl has a few kickass ladies ruling the show already, but in season two's third episode, the girl power will be cranked up a notch. Lynda Carter, who rocketed to fame for playing Wonder Woman in the late '70s, will guest star in "Welcome to Earth" as imperiled President Olivia Marsdin. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is tasked with protecting her after an attack is made on Olivia due to rising tensions between alien and human rights in National City, and with the help of Alex (Chyler Leigh), Kara will hopefully bring the alien responsible for the assault to justice. Benoist gave a cute preview of her time on set with Carter via Instagram back in August, and the official episode photos hint at season two of the superhero series being more exciting than we ever thought possible. Catch the action when the episode airs on Oct. 24.
