Mia Wasikowska Brings Classic Character Madame Bovary to Life

Hey, did you read Madame Bovary in high school? Then this trailer for the movie adaptation might give you English-class déjà vu. Mia Wasikowska stars as the titular lead of Gustave Flaubert's novel, a recently married woman who finds that her new life is immensely depressing. She starts relationships with two men (Ezra Miller and Logan Marshall-Green), and her life slowly begins taking a turn for the worst. Aside from the beautiful costumes and backgrounds, the highlight of the trailer has to be seeing The Perks of Being a Wallflower's Miller in a 19th-century suit. Rhys Ifans, Paul Giamatti, and Henry Lloyd-Hughes all costar, and the film is set for a Summer release. Take a look, and make sure you've read up on all the books becoming movies in 2015!
