Introducing the New and Returning Cast of The Maze Runner Sequel

YA adaptation The Maze Runner enthralled audiences when it was released in August, and pretty quickly earned a sequel — in addition to $97 million at the box office. The cast of The Maze Runner Chapter II: The Scorch Trials is shaping up nicely to include returning stars and some new cast members. Dylan O'Brien and Kaya Scodelario will both return as Thomas and Teresa, along with Patricia Clarkson as Ava Paige. Lili Taylor is the latest addition to the film, but there might be even more additions on the horizon. Lili Taylor
The Conjuring's Lili Taylor has joined the sequel as Mary Cooper, a doctor who helps Thomas.
Giancarlo Esposito
Giancarlo Esposito is another new addition to the cast. He'll be playing Jorge, the leader of the Cranks.
Aiden Gillen
Game of Thrones's Aiden Gillan joined the movie as Janson, aka Rat-Man, the villain.
Nathalie Emmanuel
A second Game of Thrones actor, Nathalie Emmanuel, also joined the film as Harriet, a leader of a group of girls who were also trapped in a maze.
Rosa Salazar
Parenthood's Rosa Salazar will play Brenda, the leader of another group of teens who becomes a love interest for Thomas.
Jacob Lofland
Mud actor Jacob Lofland will star as Aris, a young boy with a mysterious connection to the maze.
