There are two types of movie-watchers in November: those who aren't ready to stop watching spooky horror flicks and those who can't wait to start watching cheesy holiday films. Luckily, Netflix's new original movie offerings for November have something everyone can be thankful for. With demonic dolls, a Coen brothers Western anthology, three swoon-worthy Christmas rom-coms, and a classic switcheroo movie starring Vanessa Hudgens and . . . well, Vanessa Hudgens, here are 16 eclectic new flicks to stream in the next month.
This Christmas comedy stars The Vampire Diaries alum Kat Graham as an aspiring photographer who inherits an ancient Advent calendar from her grandmother that may actually be able to tell her future — as well as guide her toward a new love interest (played by Quincy Brown).

This Orson Welles-directed mockumentary-style satire follows an aging Hollywood director who attempts to revive his floundering career with a flashy New Hollywood film. The movie stars the now-deceased John Huston, and though it began filming in 1970 and has been in limbo for several decades, the film will finally be made available on Netflix over 33 years after Welles's death.

In this psychological horror film set in the world of webcam pornography, Madeline Brewer from The Handmaid's Tale stars as an erotic cam girl who finds her popular channel hijacked by a lookalike. What's even better: Cam is one of the few films about sex work written by a former sex worker, resulting in a story that doesn't glamorize, glorify, or romanticize the profession.

Directed by the Coen brothers — whose movies include The Big Lebowski, No Country For Old Men, and True Grit — this new film tells six different stories about life in the 19th century post-Civil War Old West, with an impressive cast that includes James Franco, Tom Waits, Zoe Kazan, and Liam Neeson, among many others.

Not to be confused with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, this equally chilling horror flick follows a toymaker and his wife, who find themselves terrorized by a demon doll after their niece tries to summon her late mother with a Spanish paper-and-pencil game called Juego de la Lapicera.

This holiday caper follows brother-and-sister team Kate and Teddy Pierce as they devise a Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus, starring Darby Camp (otherwise known as Chloe Mackenzie from Big Little Lies) and The Babysitter's Judah Lewis.
