Orange Is the New Black's Blanca Is a Babe IRL and It's Time We Praise Her

Orange Is the New Black is full of quietly fascinating characters, but Blanca might take the cake. While she first appears as crazy, we learn in season one that she's just pretending to talk to herself because it means people don't realize she's talking to her boyfriend on her hidden cell phone. Blanca is a smart cookie, and we see even more of that in season five. Since Blanca has such an extreme look, I recently started wondering what actress Laura Gómez looks like in real life. The answer? Very different than her onscreen persona.
