Freeform has another addictive show headed your way! Siren is a fantasy-drama set in the fictional coastal town of Bristol Cove and explores the mystery of what happens when an outsider named Ryn (Eline Powell) shows up and strange — sometimes fatal — events occur in the area. Marine biologists Ben (Alex Roe) and his girlfriend, Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola), work together to find out more about the mystical visitor and end up uncovering far more than they expected. Like, for instance, the fact that she's a mermaid. No biggie, right? On top of that, there are potentially more dangerous creatures under the sea just like her.
Sound like something you'd be into? Well, without further ado, meet the enchanting cast of Siren.
The Game of Thrones alum stars as Ryn, one of the vicious mermaids in this fantasy-drama. There's more to her character than meets the eye, and we can already sense a potential connection between her and Ben.
Alex Roe, who recently acted alongside Timothée Chalamet in 2017's Hot Summer Nights, stars as Ben, a marine biologist whose family has a shady history with mermaids (don't yours?). He'll no doubt play a huge part in why the creatures are rising back to shore in Bristol Cove.
Former Teen Wolf star Mlambo plays Donna, a mermaid who is captured in the premiere episode by a local fishermen.
Fola Evans-Akingbola, another Game of Thrones alum, plays Maddie, Ben's marine biologist girlfriend who is described as "highly suspicious" of Ryn. Judging from the previews, she has every reason to be since it looks like Ben is falling under Ryn's spell.
Star Wars: Episode III actress Rena Owen plays Helen, who owns a curious shop called Helen's Antiquities in Bristol Cove. She's also described as an "enigmatic person who views the town's mermaid obsession with disdain," so look out for some secrets to be revealed about Helen's connection with Ryn and Donna, too.
Verdun, who you might know from FOX's Lucifer, rounds out the cast as Xander, a deep sea fisherman who wants to uncover the truth about Ryn with the help of his friend, Ben.
