Are you a newbie to the magic that is Little Mix? We welcome you and respectfully add, FINALLY. This sorely underrated girl group out of the UK has been around since 2011, and to say they've had a couple of hits would be an understatement. Before you dive into the deep end of the Mixer (the name for Little Mix fans) pool, we're rounded up five songs that will introduce you to the group's sound and make you wonder how you ever let them slip under your radar.

01

"Wings"

Not only is this the first single of Little Mix's debut album, DNA, it's also a quintessential "can't keep us down" song. The ladies show off their impressive vocals and let everyone know that they're a force to be reckoned with!

02

"Little Me"

Everyone has something they wish they could tell their younger selves, and Little Mix manages to convey this beautifully. The wistful and hopeful song is reminiscent of Britney Spears's "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" in that it speaks to the heartache and hardships that comes with growing up. It's a love letter to all of our little mes.

03

"Salute"

Anthem for girl power or nah? Little Mix is calling for recruits to stand them and join them as powerful women ready to take charge. They croon, "If you think we're just pretty things, you couldn't be more wrong." We happily volunteer for this crew!

04

"Boy"

Many of us have been here before, trying to tell a friend to stop letting the bad boy treat her like dirt. Little Mix is here to do all the telling for you, and they do it with vocals for the gods! Let them tell your friend to "forget that boy," because everyone and their mother knows she deserves better.

05

"Black Magic"

We came for Little Mix and stayed for the Craft and Teen Witch vibes. Haven't we all wanted some mojo to help things go our way for once? Little Mix gets witchy powers and wreaks some havoc in this music video; but it's all worth it for such a catchy tune!

06

"Hair" (Feat. Sean Paul)

It's a tale as old as time; you say goodbye to your old love and hello to a new haircut. Just ask Katy Perry.

07

"Weird People"

Not only is this song perfect for any party montage, it's also fun as hell. These women are telling you it's perfectly fine to be a little weird because "we're all weird people." Anyone who tells you otherwise is no friend of yours. Get down and be happy with your weird self!

08

"Shout Out to My Ex"

I mean, what is the point of being a singer if you can't drag your ex with a chart-topping single? (This one is about Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards's ex.)

09

"Your Love"

Sometimes you just want to hear a love song, and Little Mix has a couple of great ones. They have the pipes that take a ballad to the next level, and "Your Love" shows this off perfectly. This song will have you thinking of your boo and smiling like a fool for a long time after.

10

"No More Sad Songs" (Feat. Machine Gun Kelly)

This hit is a softer breakup tune compared to "Shout Out to My Ex." Instead of railing an ex, "No More Sad Songs" conveys the need to have a night off from thinking about said ex and just have a good time. This song is definitely relatable for anyone who's had a bad breakup.
