Stephenie Meyer Has Written a Whole New Twilight — With a Big Twist!

In honor of Twilight's 10th anniversary, Stephenie Meyer is releasing a brand-new version of her first book. But that's not all! It's not just a new version; it's a reimagining, complete with a gender swap of the main roles. This time around, Bella is Beau, and Edward is Edythe. This is a full, 442-page book titled Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined. Part of the reason for the gender swap is that Meyer wants to prove that the character of Bella isn't a "damsel in distress," which is a commonly criticized element from the first book. She has also corrected some grammatical issues and word choices and altered some of the mythology for consistency. Here's a look at the new cover, and the new book will be available to purchase this week!
