Not everyone got to go to the Sundance Film Festival, but everyone will be able to check out a selection of the most talked-about movies on Netflix and Amazon. While Sundance is typically a location where filmmakers go to shop their movies to studios, streaming companies became major players this year, snapping up flicks starring the likes of Selena Gomez and Ellen Page. In fact, the companies are still buying rights to the films weeks after the festival ended. Take a look to see which films you can expect to see showing up on Netflix and Amazon soon!

Tallulah

Ellen Page stars as a Beverly Hills babysitter who bites off more than she can chew in this drama, which Netflix snapped up for $5 million. The film — which costars Allison Janney, Uzo Aduba, and Zachary Quinto — opened to generally positive reviews.

Manchester by the Sea

Amazon bought distribution rights to Kyle Chandler's critically acclaimed drama for a whopping $10 million. Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams, and Gretchen Mol all costar in the film about a man (Affleck) who becomes his nephew's guardian after the sudden death of his brother.

Author: The JT LeRoy Story

This documentary centers on Laura Albert, the real author behind the fictional writer known as JT LeRoy. Amazon bought the film, produced by Brett Ratner, for an unreported amount of money.

Love & Friendship

Amazon and Roadside Attractions teamed up to aquire Whit Stillman's Jane Austen adaptation, starring Kate Bekinsdale and Chloë Sevigny. The movie will first appear in theaters, then will exclusively be available on Amazon.

Under the Shadow

Iranian horror movie Under the Shadow scored a deal with Netflix on the first day of Sundance. There will be a theatrical release first, then it will be available on Netflix's streaming platform.

Complete Unknown

Amazon bought the rights to the Rachel Weisz drama Complete Unknown before the festival began. Michael Shannon plays a dinner host who gets confused when a guest refuses to acknowledge that they have met before.

The Fundamentals of Caring

Netflix bought The Fundamentals of Caring for $7 million before the Sundance Film Festival even started, so you know it's good. Paul Rudd plays a man who enrolls in a caregiving class while dealing with his own personal losses. Selena Gomez also stars.

Netflix bought the rights to Audrie & Daisy, a documentary about two teen girls who were assaulted by boys they thought were friends.

Amazon will theatrically release and stream this movie, starring Greta Gerwig and a very cute dachshund.

Amazon bought Gleason, a documentary about Steve Gleason, the former NFL player who was diagnosed with ALS. Open Road Films will open the movie in theaters before it heads exclusively to Amazong for streaming.

Amazon has picked up streaming rights to NUTS!, and animated documentary about a doctor who discovered an unusual cure for impotence in 1917.

Weeks after the festival ended, Netflix bought the exclusive streaming rights to White Girl. The drama follows a girl who is left with her boyfriend's large stash of cocaine after he goes to jail.
