The Vampire Diaries will be back Oct. 2, and our question since the end of the season has been this: how will Damon come back? We knew he was coming back, since he's in these behind-the-scenes pictures and we figured he had to be, but finally there's proof. Well, he's a hallucination of Elena's in the first trailer for season six, but we'll take it! Obviously, this season will kick off with a focus on grief, since Elena and Jeremy both lost their loves, but it turns out Elena has figured out a way to channel Damon with the help of some with drugs. Oh, and she's also acting out by feeding on people. Check it out.
