Wes Craven, Legendary Horror Director, Has Died at 76

Horror director extraordinaire Wes Craven has died of brain cancer. The filmmaker, best known for epic franchises like A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream, was 76 years old. His first film, 1972's The Last House on the Left, is still praised as one of the most disturbing horror movies of all time. Craven had not directed a movie since 2011's Scream 4. He is survived by his wife, Iya Labunka, and his two children, Jonathan and Jessica, whom he had with his first wife, Bonnie Broecker.
