Most kids dream of being a superhero, but Quillan Groenwald actually became one earlier this week. The 4-year-old and his dad, Grant, were out chopping wood when a branch rolled on top of Grant and pinned him to the ground.
"I said, 'I need your help! Daddy's pinned,'" Grant tells a local news station. "He said, 'I can't do it, Dad,' but I said, 'You got to.'" Grant instructed his son to bring him the nearby chainsaw, which he then used to cut himself free. Quillan helped his father to the car, then ran home to tell his mom and call for help. Despite his injuries, which included severe soft tissue damage and a broken ankle, Grant couldn't be happier to see how Quillan handled himself during the crisis.
"He was my savior," Grant says. "He's my hero."
