Finding Dory Finally Gets a Release Date (and Some Serious Spoilers)

Disney

Finding Dory won't be in theaters for another two years (we know, we're bummed too), but we have the inside scoop to tide you over till then. During the Comic-Con Experience Brazil, Pixar's Jim Morris gave fans an inside look at the long-awaited film. In addition to revealing artwork and a few unfinished scenes, Morris shared the plot of the upcoming sequel. The movie, scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2016, will explore Dory's past. The forgetful fish learns she was born in the Marine Biology Institute of California, a huge complex of rehabilitation for marine life, and released in the ocean when she was a kid. With the help of Marlin, Nemo, and a few new friends, Dory embarks on a journey to find, well, herself. Does this get you excited for the film?
