A Sweet Pink Theme For Your Little Girl's First Birthday

Birthday parties call for food, celebration, and laughter — especially when it's your child's first birthday. One mom wanted to make her daughter's party as fun and bright as her little girl. To do that, she crafted her own pink and yellow backdrop and cloth garland. These simple DIY touches added a personal note to Layne Violet's first birthday party.

In keeping with a girlie theme, the mom also stuck to pinks, yellows ,and turquoise for decorations and treats. Pink doughnuts with sprinkles were offered as well as beautiful pink frosted cupcakes. The most creative DIY idea that all mothers can steal, however, was a baby photo board that anyone can recycle and hang up in their child's room.
