We've all had moments of desperation, when we realized there were no bottles of wine in the house, and we wondered, "what if we just tossed these grapes into the slow cooker?" That's all there is to it, right? Not quite.

Our dream of homemade Crock-Pot wine was the definition of "Pinterest fail" — until now.

David Murphy just revealed a DIY red wine recipe that requires only six ingredients, one of which is the trusty Instant Pot.

"Cheers to you, Instant Pot, in helping me make some Instant Pot wine," he wrote in his blog post outlining his set-it-and-forget-it process. "You really are worth every penny that I've spent on it!"
