This Is a Newborn Photo Shoot That You'd Actually Want in Your Facebook Feed

It happens every day — you're scrolling through your Facebook feed and nine out of 10 posts are about so-and-so's new baby. That, or the "unique" newborn shoot your friend of a friend did with her husband three months ago is still making its rounds.

Elisha Minnette, a photographer in Australia, and her two friends Abby and Matt had a discussion about this very phenomenon on a long drive home from picking up a puppy, when they decided to get outside with the camera to have some fun. Abby, Matt, and their new Groodle puppy, Humphry — who loved every second of this experience — posed for a series of photos that look sneakily similar to a newborn baby photo shoot, and the results are absolutely hilarious.

"This shoot was not done to 'make fun of new parents' or to make fun of parents who 'overshare' their baby photos on social media," Elisha told us. "This was just clean, simple Sunday afternoon fun."
