With all the adorable costumes available for babies, it's hard to settle on just one for your tot's first Halloween. That was the dilemma first-time parents Jessica and Peter Chavkin faced earlier this month. As Halloween enthusiasts, the list of potential costumes for their newborn son, Noah, was a lengthy one. But as the list grew, Jessica decided she didn't need to make a decision.
"I realized I didn't have to pick just one," she told The Huffington Post. "Noah could count down to his first Halloween and celebrate the whole month long."
So that's exactly what she did. Every day since Oct. 1, Jessica has shared a photo of her costume-clad son on Instagram and her Tumblr, Noah's Halloween Countdown. The ensembles range from the traditional attire to pop culture puns — each one more adorable than the last. Though Jessica wasn't expecting her photo project to become so popular, she is happy to see that people enjoy it.
"I never realized so many other people would be so interested," she says. "I created this as a way for Noah and I to have fun together and celebrate my favorite holiday."
