Recall Alert! 96,000 Pounds of Hot Dogs Recalled!

Serving hot dogs for dinner tonight? You may want to switch to hamburgers. Kraft Food Group, Inc. is recalling approximately 96,000 pounds of its Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners after reports that the items may contain milk, a known allergen that is not declared on the product label. A labeling error resulted in Oscar Mayer's Classic Cheese Dogs being placed in the Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners packages. The problem was discovered by a consumer who notified the company on April 18.
The recall includes the 16 oz. packages of the classic wieners with product code 044700000632, as well as cases of 16 oz. packages with the product code 00447000005300. Both products include a "use by" date of June 16, 2014.
