Ever wondered just how hip moms really are? We ask them to explain current popular culture with hilarious results. Find out what they had to say here:
Mom explains: There's a lot of swiping of things involved, and it's the way young kids are dating these days. Well, they don't say dating, I guess. They say Tindering. The kids are doing the Tinder.
Mom explains: I remember when you were on the basketball squad, is it like that? Or, wait. You were on the basketball team. Is it an activity you all do together?
Mom explains: I get what a selfie is — I don't have any desire to take tons of pictures of myself and post them all over Facebook. No one cares.
Mom explains: Oh, it's about #selfies (which we just talked about above). She took a picture of herself every day for a year and turned it into a book of pictures. Which, I guess she didn't need to do. You could just print her Instagram, I'm thinking. Did anyone buy the book?
Mom explains: What was that? Can you repeat? OK, spell it out? I don't know, does it mean you're on track? I don't get that one.
Mom explains: Isn't that like in a ship when you use a viewfinder? Is it spying on someone? Does it have something to do with your phone? I don't think it's a good idea.
Mom explains: I think Harry Potter was first. And what's The Hunger Games about anyway? Don't they have enough food in the future?
Mom explains: So I get that's a hashtag thing — I see it sometimes on my Facebook. But what's TBT? I've never seen that. Truth be told? Today's big thing? OH, that's nice! Am I right?
