From the lavish dessert table to the oversize lace tepees, everything about this gorgeous boho-chic American Girl doll birthday party is over the top!
It wasn't hard for event designer and planner Laila of One Inspired Party to come up with the idea for her daughter's fifth birthday. She merged Nicole's love of the American Girl doll Kaya with her affinity toward glitter and took off from there. With a boho-chic theme in mind, Laila settled on a mint, coral, and pink color palette with pops of orange, hot pink, and aqua. "With the help of Johanna from Bambini Soiree, I was able to secure props that translated Kaya's heritage with the glam and sparkle of my little girl," said Laila. "I chose sequined linens because Nicole loves glitter and I happen to love mixing superrustic elements with elegant ones."
For activities, the girls were encouraged to get creative with their dolls and enjoyed bracelet beading and sand art stations. As an added surprise, Fairytale Favorites had someone dressed as Kaya teach the girls how to do the rain dance. "My favorite part of the whole celebration was the sweets table!" said Laila. "With the backdrop Bambini Soiree created, the dreamcatchers that I made, all the superb sweets from the most talented bakers in Miami, and the little tepee favors — everything was just darling!"
