Whether you first fell in love with Kristen Bell when she was on Veronica Mars or if you seriously can't wait for the next season of The Good Place, one thing's for sure: she's definitely a solid role model for her two daughters, Delta and Lincoln. Even though we're totally biased and willingly admit she and Dax Shepard are one of our favorite celebrity couples of all time, they're both chock-full of solid parenting hacks. Don't believe us? Scroll through to see some of her tried-and-true parenting philosophies.

01

She has no shame when sharing her breastfeeding struggles.

In an episode of her web series, Mansplaining, Kristen Bell got candid about her breastfeeding experience by revealing that she got mastisis three separate times. Yikes!

But thankfully, the third time around Dax did her a serious solid by actually nursing off her to relieve the pain. And yup, you read that right. She explained the magnitude of the favor in a conversation with Katie Lowes, saying:

"So I said to my husband, 'I'm going to need you to suck this out. We could talk about it, we could be weird about it, or you can just go ahead and nurse,'" she said. "He had a cup next to him. He was pulling out and spitting into this cup and I've never been more in love in my life." Now that's love.

02

She's a mastermind of time-saving kiddie hacks.

Traveling with kids can induce a headache almost immediately, but according to social media, Kristen knows how to keep her cool even in the most dire situations, like when your kiddo's Pull-up breaks. Her quick and easy fix? A hair tie, of course!

03

She's not afraid to admit she and Dax fight sometimes.

Even though it seems like Kristen and Dax have the perfect marriage from afar, she admits they've had their fair share of disagreements. Kristen spilled some details about the couple's very first fight on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And to absolutely no one's surprise, it involved a motorcycle road trip.

"He had chosen the music for the first two states, and when he went into the service station I thought, 'Well, that's a wrap for me. I'm up to here with the yacht rock, outlaw country; let's get some show tunes, right?!' So I switched the iPod. Well, he was not happy," Kristen explained. "Because I didn't ask, we didn't discuss it, and it was also like we're both control freaks, [and it was the] beginning of our relationship."

04

She has a healthy way of handling her kids when they annoy her.

Not to be a total Debbie Downer, but yes, sometimes the people you've personally created get under your skin. And Kristen isn't afraid to admit that because, after all, no one is perfect.

She explained that on the days that she's running on especially little patience her and Dax switch kids.

"We tag team. We switch kids all the time," she said in an interview with Us Weekly. "If I'm talking to the 2-and-a-half-year-old and I'm done, I'll just be like, 'We've got to switch. I don't want to talk to this kid anymore.' It's not about perfection, but it is about being thoughtful and not reactive. So in order to not be reactive, we switch kids a lot."

05

She's totally OK with sharing photos of the rawer side of motherhood.

Kristen Bell isn't afraid to keep it real when it comes to the less magical aspects of being a new mother. She shared an incredibly relatable series of photos to Instagram that showed her swinging from the IV pole while in labor and sporting a pair of mesh panties with Dax by her side. Yup, that's as raw as it gets.

06

She's had her fair share of breast pumping mishaps at work.

Being able to successfully pump while holding down a job is no easy feat, and Kristen Bell knows that struggle well. Mila Kunis mentioned a slip-up that involved a "200-inch screen" and Kristen Bell on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

"K-Bell's just on a giant screen Skyped in, and as we're reading the script, you see her face just getting closer and closer into the screen, and the rest of her body just keeps kind of getting out of the screen," said Mila.

And we totally love Kristen's response to be called out: "I needed to pump. I'm sorry — when you gotta do it, you gotta do it!" Right on.

07

She shamelessly gets suckered into doing exactly what her kids say.

Usually when your parents do something it immediately becomes uncool. Well, that rule certainly doesn't apply to Kristen Bell, who voiced Anna in Frozen. The mother of two was asked to dress up as Elsa (aka not who she voiced) for Halloween, and naturally, she totally caved.

08

She has no f*cking clue what to do with her kids' artwork either.

Figuring out what the hell to do with the art your kids make in school is a universal problem all parents battle. And as far as we can tell, Kristen doesn't have the answer either. She posted this photo to Instagram with the caption: "Serious question: what are you supposed to do with all the beautiful garbage that your kids give you?"

09

She runs on no sleep — just like the rest of us.

Another thing you quickly realize you took for granted after entering motherhood? Sleep! And apparently, Kristen is right there with the rest of us when it comes to not getting enough shut-eye. "I think that fuels everything. It fuels my lack of patience with my kids sometimes. If I had had a full night's rest, I would be able to be more patient with them sometimes." Preach sister.
