A Whole Town Came Together to Give This Magical Baby a Unicorn Birthday Surprise

Leyton Hull's parents never thought she would make it to 2 years old. While she was still in utero, Leyton was diagnosed with a serious cephalic disorder that would affect her brain development and longevity. Her mother, Jennifer Hull, was advised by doctors to terminate her pregnancy — a difficult choice that she ultimately did not end up making.

In an interview with Oklahoma's News on 6, Jennifer explained: "Every doctor's appointment they told us to terminate her. So, having her coming out screaming, crying, was a miracle in itself. And to be here today at 2 is unbelievable."

That's why Leyton's family decided to celebrate her upcoming birthday in a major way — with a unicorn! Since Jennifer considers Leyton to be her magical child, she wanted to commemorate the occasion with a sweet unicorn photo shoot put together with the help of her community.

A local horse owner donated a horse for the occasion and dressed it up to look like a unicorn, and The Inclusion Project coordinated the photo shoot at no cost. In a statement, a photographer for the special needs awareness initiative spoke about Leyton and said, "She is so precious and such a fighter!"
