It is said that a bride should look like the best version of herself on her wedding day. So we expected no less than an easy, boho ensemble from crop-top-loving Ashlee Simpson when she said "I do" over Labor Day weekend to Evan Ross in Greenwich, CT.
Working closely with Houghton designer Katharine Polk, the couple ensured their handprints were on their reception styles. The label released sketches of both looks, which for Ashlee meant a pair of ivory sequin wide-leg trousers and an ivory sequin crop top. Evan wore a custom suit made of silk ivory burnout velvet, featuring a custom-tailored smoking jacket and cuffed harem trousers.
