You Need to Take a Closer Look at Band of Outsiders

Scott Sternberg often infuses his Band of Outsiders line with a winking sense of humor, but for Fall 2014, he made that just a bit more literal with a deeply adorable sweatshirt that fit into the charmingly painted presentation set. Trompe l'oeil details popped up on a pencil skirt and a sure-to-be-coveted poncho.

The outerwear stole the show with a furry take on the classic toggle coat, a dressed-up plaid duffel coat, and a sweet evening capelet. Yes, evening! There was a whole section of after-dark looks that revolved around wallpaper florals. Seriously, we thought Margot Tenanbaum was going to pop out next — the whole thing was so perfectly Wes Anderson-ian.
