The heavy hitters of the fashion world have long since hailed from New York, London, Milan, and Paris. Until now, that is. One of the most heavily talked about up-and-coming cities for fashion is none other than Copenhagen, where Fashion Week just wrapped up. Not only are they debuting new and fresh brands that have a hand in the rising youthful trends of style, but the week (though not exclusively) has a core focus on sustainability. The event's website states that they "strive towards making substantial changes to the way the event is executed and works to inspire and encourage the industry to take steps toward becoming more sustainable."

Ahead, find the seven designers who are leading the pack when it comes to Copenhagen Fashion Week and collections you're about to see everywhere.

01

Cecilie Bahnsen

Cecilie Bahnsen is always romantic and always dreamy. Even in head-to-toe black, the puff sleeves, airy silk materials, and draped silhouettes give off that elegant vibe we all so strive for. This season was no exception, debuting puff sleeves, full skirts, feathered dresses, and wrap tops alike.

02

Ganni

While many think of Ganni as a recent addition to the style lexicon, the husband-and-wife design team just celebrated a milestone 10 years since taking the helm of the brand. With bright colors, statement-making textures, and tailored silhouettes that ground the collection in the classics, despite their head-turning vibe, Ganni is certainly one to know.

Little Liffner

Little Liffner has been around the fashion world since 2012, but we're really only now beginning to consider it a total wardrobe essential of every style-lover out there. With each passing season, the brand grows stronger and stronger through its collections of colorful structured mini bags that we can't wait to collect.

04

Saks Potts

Perhaps originally best known for their colorful and colorblocked shearling and fur coats, the design duo presented a brightly toned collection of bodysuits, neon leather, printed jumpsuits, and more for Spring. With an emphasis on the natural curve of the body, everything from minidresses to two-piece sets nipped in and hugged all the right places.

By Malene Birger

Designer Mathilde Torp Mader splits her time between London and Copenhagen, and the deconstructed yet classic look echoes her own design inspiration from the slightly differing cities. In the Spring 2020 collection, there was everything from tailored check coats and silk slip dresses to patchwork prints and mesh-covered dresses alike.

06

Stine Goya

Stine Goya is one of the more colorful collections of the bunch. Especially for this newly debuted Spring 2020 collection, the show was rife with blown-out floral patterns; near neon hues of pink, orange, blue, and more; and metallic accents that are sure to turn everyone's head.

Brøgger

Brøgger is one of the newest additions to the group, showing the second runway collection at this past Spring 2020 Fashion Week. The designer focuses on the duality between masculine and feminine using size, proportion, and romantic detailing to infuse a little bit of borrowed-from-the-boys aesthetic into even the most girly of pieces.
