If you're out of holiday gift ideas for your bestie, your mom, your sister, or your SO, we doubt you thought of buying a cool pair of Vans. If you had, you'd still be scrolling through pages and pages on the Internet, not here reading this post. We decided to hit up some of our favorite retailers and scope out the merchandise, but then we got into the nitty-gritty of it and searched on Etsy and vintage websites for old school — and yes, Old Skool — styles that are, at this point, one-of-a-kind. If you know a sneakerhead in your life, that person will obviously appreciate compliment inviting shoes, and all the designs right here fit the bill.
There are furry finishes, romantic sewn-on patches, and shearling lined interiors to obsess over. There are custom pastel low-tops that look like they literally walked straight out of Disney's Toy Story movie, and Vivienne Westwood's collaboration with the brand is pretty cool too. We know you're probably in the loop when it comes to naming past famous collections, but this list goes beyond the obvious and really runs the gamut. We won't blame you if you pick up some Vans for yourself while shopping for others. Every sneaker here is under $200, anyway, so you kind of have to . . . right?
