Celine Dion Emerges as the Style Icon of Couture Fashion Week, and My Personal Hero

There is a kind of street style at Haute Couture Fashion Week that is wonderfully wearable and relatable. There are things I see on fellow editors, and even influencers, and think: I could wear that. That's not even remotely what popped into my head when I saw the photos of Celine Dion living her most fashion-forward life attending the shows, parties, and photoshoots in Paris. In fact, I thought the exact opposite: I don't know if I could ever wear that. Where would one have the occasion to go pantless in a coordinating printed leotard and blazer? You might ask. Not in my life have I ever encountered such an opportunity or a dress code — or even dared to dream of one . . . until Celine blessed us with these looks.

She's the Carrie Bradshaw of Couture Week, with a bigger budget (yes, bigger than even Hollywood, Vogue cover shoot, movie-version Carrie), procuring only couture for her couture show appearances and adding to her growing outfit tally every time she steps out in something new and more drama-inducing than her last. With each fantasy-filled outfit change, she's very quickly solidified herself as the style icon of Haute Couture Week, leaning into the Fashion, with a capital "F" and giving us the whole runway right here on the street.

Celine stepped out for the Valentino show covered in feathers.

Celine dressed up a t-shirt and mini with the ultimate accessory: The Heart of the Ocean necklace. Yes, that blue diamond necklace from Titanic.

Celine showed off a Chanel unitard and logo-adorned belt.

The icon wore a ruffled Miu Miu gown and jeweled ankle-strap heels. Very Carrie Bradshaw, no?

Playing with opposites, Celine paired this structured Ronald Van Der Kemp blazer with a whimsical marigold skirt. Note the mismatched Jimmy Choos.

Shutting it down at Schiaparelli, Celine arrived in a halter-style dress, headpiece, and leather opera gloves.

Looking like a work of art, Celine pulled off this fantastical Iris van Herpen effortlessly.

A vision in Alexandre Vauthier, Celine shared this look on her Instagram with the caption: "Channeling the inner goddess in all of us."

Even exiting her hotel was cause for a statement-making outfit; this one included a feathered Attico confection on top and a pair of asymmetrical jeans, paired with cat-eye shades and a Fendi handbag.

Who needs pants when you've got a head-turning blazer and leotard like this Off-White set Celine wore for a day out and about.

If this looks like something straight out of a fashion fantasy, it kind of is. Celine posed for a photoshoot on the streets of Paris in this floral gown, with two Weimaraners at her side, no less.
