Converse Just Gave Its Classic All Star Kicks a Major Makeover

Converse

While some may live by the rule "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," that saying clearly doesn't apply to Converse. After releasing a revamped version of the Chuck Taylor in 2015 — aptly named Chuck Taylor II — the brand decided to update the All Star, giving the shoe a sleek new design inspired by the original 1920s version. Along with Nike contributors HTM, Converse also added a few more modern touches, such as making the kicks more lightweight, flexible, and fit for the active lifestyle.

The All Star Modern HTM comes in a few chic colorways including (but not limited to) white, black, and red, and you'll be able to shop both high- and low-top options starting on June 16. Scroll through for a peek at what's to come. No doubt you'll soon see these versatile sneakers on everyone.
