These Street Style Stars Clearly Didn't Get the Weather Report

The fashion crowd doesn't care if there's a heat wave. If they've got a new Fall look they want to show off, they're going to wear it — 80-degree temperatures be damned. So, regardless of just how hot and humid it got this week — and don't underestimate how much the bright lights inside the tents heat up the room, either — we saw coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, and even a little fur. But is it crazy or chic? That's up to you — flip through to see the street style stars who ignored Al Roker's friendly forecast all in the name of fashion.

NYFW Day 1; Average: 78°F

Louise Roe mastered the cool-girl draped jacket — but in 85-degree weather, she probably could have just left it at home.

NYFW Day 1; Average: 78°F

Aimee Song's sweatshirt would have been the perfect way to transition this look in the chill, but when it's still 80 degrees out, we would have loved it just as much with a tank top.

NYFW Day 3; Average: 80°F

I can tell you from firsthand experience that I sweat through my t-shirt on this 90-degree day; I can only imagine how Margaret Zhang survived the heat with a blazer and a fur clutch in tow.

NYFW Day 4; Average: 73°F

Margaret Zhang's topper would be perfect for the start of Winter — which, at this point, is still several weeks away.

NYFW Day 4; Average: 73°F

While this is how you do Fall whites, it might be a tad premature when the highs are in the 80s.

NYFW Day 4; Average: 73°F

Clad in more than a little leather, Miroslava Duma kept her bump nice and toasty.

NYFW Day 4; Average: 73°F

Olivia Palermo's leather wrap dress might be better suited for a day that dips below the mid-70s.

NYFW Day 6; Average: 68°F

Maybe Miroslava Duma was all buttoned up to brave the A/C?

NYFW Day 6; Average: 68°F

All we can think is that Kate Lanphear's signature all-black style must have been feeling particularly balmy while running around in the heat.

NYFW Day 6; Average: 68°F

Danielle Bernstein must have been feeling extrabundled in her funnel-neck sweater when the temperatures climbed north of 70 degrees.

NYFW Day 7; Average: 71°F

We can't argue with how chic Miroslava Duma's coat is, but we have to imagine that it feels closer to 100 degrees under there.

NYFW Day 7; Average: 71°F

Eleonora Carisi layered up to brave the 70-degree chill.

NYFW Day 7; Average: 71°F

Jessica Hart was channeling Fall despite the near 80-degree temperatures.

NYFW Day 7; Average: 71°F

Sweatshirts and leather pants are some of our favorite things for Fall, but on a sunny 70-degree day, we'd probably be more comfortable showing a little leg — and a little arm.
