We've already mastered the wrap and tuck, but we couldn't resist the chance to experiment with something new – a sexy spin on the classic button-down with one unexpected twist. This time around, instead of looking to our own wardrobe, we're pulling from unexplored territory: his side of the closet.

We're borrowing from the boys (or men really,) for this easy five-step styling hack that takes workwear from day to night in under two minutes. The only piece you need: a button-down from the closet of any of the superspecial men in your life. Color and pattern don't really matter; go for whatever looks good to you (we're partial to gingham). And know that in a pinch you can transform his daytime look into a surprisingly sultry going out top. Read on for a quick tutorial on this his-meets-hers fashion hack you'll want to try out ASAP.

Step 1: Take a Basic Men's Button-Down

Borrow from your dad, boyfriend, brother — whoever! Just make sure the shirt is clean (and BO free).

Step 2: Slide It On

Slide on the shirt like you would a normal button-down, but instead of putting your hands in the sleeves, pull them all the way through the neck hole so that the entire shirt is around your torso.

Step 3: Button It Up

Button the shirt up until it fits snugly around your chest. There will definitely be extra buttons left at the top, but that's OK — it's how you create the sweetheart neckline!

Step 4: Tie the Sleeves

Grab the sleeves and wrap them around the front of your torso. Then, take the excess sleeve and tie it into a bow just under your bust. Make sure the sleeves are pulled tightly so the fit is snug.

Step 5: Make Sure It's Secure

Once tied tight, your top should feel secure (not slippery) give it one last check and you're good to go!
