While Scandal's latest collaboration with The Limited won't hit stores until Feb. 13, those anxious to channel their inner Gladiator got the chance to preshop the line on Tuesday night with a special event at the Glendale Galleria in California. But while an Olivia Pope-approved wardrobe and the chance to meet the show's costume designer, Lyn Paolo, surely would have sufficed, fans were treated with yet another surprise: Kerry Washington.

The star, who wore a polka-dot Dolce & Gabbana dress, stayed for a special meet and greet, even posing with some of the models rocking pieces from the collection. Keep scrolling to see all the pics, then make plans for what you'll be shopping with a sneak peek.

When Olivia Pope shows up to shop the Scandal collection, you know it's good.

This collection will feature items inspired by all the women on the show, including Mellie, Abby, and Quinn.

Kerry took the time to pose with the real stars of the night: the show's costume designer, Lyn Paolo, and Elliot Staples, head of design for The Limited.

Then she greeted fans. We can only imagine the amount of shock they felt.
