"But would Miranda Priestly approve?" The Devil Wears Prada fans wondered, as Meryl Streep took the DNC stage in an American flag dress. Anne Hathaway, who played Miranda's fashion assistant Andrea Sachs in the film confirmed: yes. When it comes to supporting Hillary Clinton, any outfit goes — especially when it exhibits patriotism. Though this isn't the first time Meryl has worn her vibrant Catherine Malandrino number (she belted it on the red carpet in 2009), it packed the right punch.
