Nicole Richie's style is worth a study — she didn't make it onto our list of modern-day style icons by playing it safe, after all. And the latest look she put together was the sort of oxymoron that she's a pro at pulling off. Her all-white was crisp and preppy, but the proportions were tough with more than a dose of biker-babe sexy.

She kept her JET by John Eshaya jeans as skinny as possible and went bold up top, picking a Balmain number with sharp shoulders and bold buckles at the sides. Done in gold metallic, her ID plate necklace and classic heels added a final statement.
