These days, her tendency toward cool, dressed-down separates has made her a go-to designer for the edgier downtown set, and for Fall 2014, she's making sure her followers have what they need to transition seamlessly from work to play. The modern event dressing she's going for this season includes a wear-anywhere quartz-colored cracked leather dress along with mix-and-match options like a pair of black jacquard pants with a cocoon cropped coat. In fact, it was her outerwear that really helped make the day-to-night transformation come alive — in particular, flight jackets and popover sweatshirts that used stamped metallic foil detailing to truly stand out from the crowd. Especially when everyone in that crowd is in that stereotypical cocktail dress.
