Reed Krakoff Pumps Up the Luxury, Keeps the Volume Low

Some women like major bling and the cost of their clothes to be obvious. Others like their luxury to whisper, and those are the women who flock to Reed Krakoff for his sumptuous fabrics and sharp cuts. Fall 2014 saw even more fur and exotic skins on the runway: astrakhan, python, curly shearling, alligator. And we're not just talking about his beloved bags! But, speaking of, Krakoff sent out a single bag shape throughout the entire show. The RK Krush bag is a small, handheld, pouch-like bag that worked equally well with day separates, like a shearling vest with cropped pants, as with a sleek evening look of monochrome blush. We will now resist the urge to pun about our Krush on the collection . . . oops.
