Attention, casual punks: Richard Chai Love is going to be supplementing your glam-meets-grunge wardrobe come Fall. It might be hard to imagine the melting pot of these different style genres, but the latest collection from the designer offers his trademark cool-girl slouchy styling with a few hints of punk-rock edge, from the expected — a plush plaid cocoon coat — to surprising layered-up looks that paired a cropped jacket and turtleneck sweater with a statement-making pair of jet-black sequined trousers.

And the soundtrack, supplemented with The Bangles' "Hazy Shade of Winter," only added to the effect. The color palette was more than a bit hazy, combining browns and camels, grays and blacks, navies and burgundies. Sure, it's not bright, but with looks this easy to mix and match, what's not to love?
