We Didn't Expect to See a Gown Like This on Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez made an appearance on the red carpet at Sunday evening's Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in Los Angeles. We've grown used to seeing Selena in sexy styles like the Calvin Klein dress she wore to the Grammys, or her Philipp Plein gown from SNL — but this was a new look for the star.

For the Academy Awards bash, Selena and her stylist, Kate Young, threw us a curve. Selena was covered up in a cap-sleeved, sequined Louis Vuitton dress. The silver sparkles made the look truly stand out, along with the floral details that ran down the front of the gown. Since her dress had so much personality, Selena kept the rest of her look simple — straight hair, smoky eye, and a simple clutch.
