Suno Gives Us the Jolt of Color We've Been Waiting For

IMAXTREE

For a moment, it looked as though Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty had turned their backs on the print mixing Suno is known for: their Fall 2014 collection started off with a series of looks that were either solid or cut from a black and white striped fabric accented with images of flowers. It wasn't until a few looks in that the rest of the prints came together in that beautiful mixture only these two designers can achieve: black and blue polka dots with multicolored stripes, purple flowers with bands of maroon and orange, plaid with a swirling gold brocade, and a metallic tweed. And don't forget the subtle bling courtesy of their ongoing participation in the Swarovski Collective.

This was a vibrant collection in a sea of mostly black and gray clothes. But it's early in the week. Perhaps other brands will present colors as forcefully and beautifully as Suno has.
