We know for a fact there's more than one way to wear a button-down, but now that the half-tuck is tried-and-true, we've been on the lookout for even more shirt styling inspiration. That's when we happened upon a trick we'd never thought of before: the wrap-and-tuck. How do you do it, you ask? Just grab an old collared shirt, wrap one half around your body, tuck it in, and boom — you've got a brand-new(-looking) twisted top.

And OK, we'll admit this isn't exactly a "new" style (even Audrey Hepburn did it back in the day), and pulling it off definitely isn't rocket science, but the trend is making a big comeback. Just take a look at the following photos for some inspiration, and get ready to wrap and tuck your way to street-style stardom.

Here's how to pull it off: just take an old (slightly baggy) button-down shirt, twist it wrap-top style, and tuck it in. Then use safety pins or button one of the top buttons to secure it in place and prevent any wardrobe malfunctions.

Even one of your "work" tops can become after-hours appropriate with this trick. It's a great way to switch up your style for happy hour.

We're even doing it here at POPSUGAR Fashion! Sarah creatively styled her chambray top with jeans for our denim-on-denim #stylinghacks challenge.

Even Sienna Miller was spotted trying out the wrap-and-tuck. With stripes on stripes to boot!

Madewell knows what's up. The brand posted the wrap-and-tuck on its Instagram page, featuring the Rivet & Thread Flannel Shirt in Harvey Plaid ($110).

Blogger Irina Lakicevic rocked this twisted white top during New York Fashion Week, proving that even the most basic of basics can become fashion forward with some great styling.
