The Setting, the Gown, the Castle — This Northern Scotland Elopement Shoot Is Really Something Else

If you've seen Disney's Brave, this styled elopement shoot will look familiar. Taken at Dunnottar Castle in Northern Scotland — which inspired Merida and her family's Scottish Highlands home in the animated movie — photographer Gabriel Conover turned this royal landmark into a romantic elopement location, allowing the beautiful bluffs, medieval castle, and bride and groom to take center stage. The bride wore a backless lace dress with a plunging neckline and flower crown (made by photographer Gabriel himself!), while the groom wore a black tux. Taking into account the breathtaking setting and how happy these two look together, this shoot is all the elopement inspiration we need. See the stunning pictures, ahead.
