Lyft Is Teaming Up With Stranger Things to Bring You 1 Very Paranormal Ride

Attention, Philadelphia and Los Angeles: if you take a ride in a Lyft this weekend, don't ignore the button marked "Strange Mode." If you do, you'll be missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the Stranger Things-themed Halloween experience of your dreams.

The rideshare app is teaming up with the hit Netflix series for two days only — Oct. 27 and 28, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. local time on each day — to bring riders to the Upside-Down, though (spoiler alert) don't expect a Demogorgon to pick you up at home. Think more along the lines of "radio static, malfunctions, flickering lights, and a ride ending with a waffle, guaranteed to scare."

POPSUGAR editors got a sneak preview of Strange Mode, and we can guarantee that you'll never experience anything quite like what Lyft and Netflix deliver when you enter their very inconspicuous car. Don't just take our word for it, though: below, check out the partnership in action (and maybe book your tickets to Philly and LA right now, while you're at it.)

For more info on Strange Mode, head over to Lyft's blog for a full rundown.
