8 Things All Sleepwalkers Understand

Everett Collection

Sleepwalking is no joke, people. I used to deal with the problem constantly, and the stories I have resulting from my sleepwalking days are ridiculous. I'll still never believe that I did my entire dance recital performance in front of my parents . . . while asleep. If you have ever gone through a time in your life where you have wandered around or spoken during your slumber, you'll totally understand these things to be true.

01

When someone tells you the ridiculous things you did in your sleep, you don't believe them.

Seriously, it's not something you would do — it's impossible!

02

You have woken up mid-sleepwalk before and it totally freaked you out.

Whoa, where am I?!

03

Sometimes when you wake up, items are moved around the room.

And you don't know how . . .

04

You have said ridiculously embarrassing things in your sleep before.

People have told you all about the gibberish.

05

Don't even get started on the weird stuff you actually do in your sleep.

Cooking, walking, and yes — dancing.

06

After several times, you start to freak out when you start to get tired.

What am I going to do in my sleep this time?

07

You remember your dreams a lot.

And they're always pretty weird.

08

You've warned everyone about the sleepwalking, so they're prepared.

Not to worry — they all have your back.
