Beauty vlogger and influencer NikkieTutorials just shared a DIY [1] based on one of our favorite inspirations as of late: mermaids [2]. In the video, Nikkie describes the look as a "modern-day smoky mermaid," with a heavy emphasis on the eye makeup.
After prepping her face with foundation, concealer, and powder, Nikkie creates the mystifying eye using her very own Power of Makeup Palette [3] ($56), her collaboration with Too Faced [4]. The main shades she used from the set are "Mystic Hour" and "Wham Bam." She then finished off the eye makeup with MAC Cosmetics Reflects Transparent Teal Glitter [5] ($22).
