In the days following Fenty Beauty's September 2017 launch, you could walk into any Sephora and see all the line's darkest shades of Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation [2] ($34) selling out. Photos of empty shelves [3] on social media cued mass hysteria. While it was a beautiful thing to see black consumers coming out in droves to support a black-woman-owned brand, folks who didn't shop early were left wondering when a restock would come.
Rihanna finally answered prayers on Dec. 11. "Yeeeessssss what you guys been begging for. PROFILTR FOUNDATION #RIHstocks are finally back!!!," she wrote on Instagram. "Giving all my shade #400s a heads up for tomorrow so you get your hands on it before it's gone again!"
In the comments, one fan called out Rihanna for having taken so long — but she was ready to flex her customer service skills. "Girl six months later," user boujeebrownskin wrote. Rihanna replied, "Sis. We overstocked for 4 months plus, but what can I do when errbody luh da kid?!...also what's yo shade sis?"

Rihanna's been known to read her comments and DMs, especially when it concerns her makeup brand. She recently responded to a fan who asked her why she didn't have any transgender models [6] for Fenty Beauty. "I don't think it's fair that a trans woman, or man, be used as a convenient marketing tool," she wrote back.
If you really don't want to miss the next restock of your foundation shade, you can always sign up for email alerts on fentybeauty.com [7].
