Not to bring down the mood, but summer is almost halfway over.
Typically, when I inevitably realize we're approaching the midpoint of the season, I lament over the sunny days behind us, knowing full well that my lightweight moisturizer and coral lipstick will soon be replaced with a heavy-duty cream and a wine-hued red.
I'm attempting to keep things a little bit more positive this year by instead using this fact as motivation to cross off warm-weather experiences from my bucket list and switch up my makeup routine with a few new fun summer looks. Why shouldn't I wear eyeliner to the beach?

Shimmery Lids and Brushed Up Brows
This balm-y, glittery makeup moment was created with the help of the e.l.f. Matte Red Lips and Long Lashes

Metallic Graphic Eyes and Glossy Lips
I usually just lightly dab some cream shadow over my lids and call it a day, but this look is giving me a reason to break out my metallic eyeshadow palettes.
