Sabrina Carpenter is the latest to wear the hairstyle of the moment [2]: a Pamela Anderson updo [3]. On Jan. 25, the actor attended the Elie Saab haute couture spring/summer '23 show during Paris Fashion Week looking chic as can be.
The hairstyle added a touch of '90s flair [4] to her outfit. Created by Dayaruci Perianez [5], it was a quintessential messy bun [6] with curled, face-framing pieces, which added a relaxed feel to the look. Carpenter put her own touch on it by incorporating her "Birkin bangs [7]" instead of Anderson's retro curtain bangs [8].
Since the premiere of Hulu's "Pam & Tommy [9]" in 2022, we've once again been reminded why Anderson was crowned a beauty icon of the early aughts. Everything from her signature hairstyle to her washed-denim eyeshadow [10] has begun to trend once more.
